Liz, a California girl, grew up in Santa
Cruz and San Francisco before hanging her hat in Oakland in 2000. With
an appreciation for urban life, but a love of open space and sunshine,
Liz felt she was truly home when
she moved to Oakland. As a self-possessed foodie and a lover of the
outdoors, the East Bay is her own personal paradise. When she purchased
her first home at 25, she was delighted with the rewards of home
ownership. In time she became a realtor so she could pass that joy onto
others.
Before entering the world of real estate, Liz put her degree in business to use as a district manager for corporations and start-ups. Though Liz enjoyed the hustle and bustle of her work, the constant travel and time away from home helped her make the decision to follow her heart. Making a career of helping clients buy and sell real estate was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
When Liz isn’t viewing properties for her clients, hosting an Open House and/or preparing her marketing for a listing, she can be seen running Lake Merritt, having breakfast with her family at Aunt Mary’s and strolling the Berkeley Farmer’s Market. When Liz is not in the East Bay, she is in Mexico or another vacation destination with a beach. Liz is typically training for something--whether it’s a sprint triathlon or a half marathon and can count on her two cheerleaders, Ben and Ray, to be rooting for their mom all the way to the finish line. Liz believes in being a role model to her boys for the rewards hard work and focus can bring.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Anita moved to New Mexico at 10.
She was raised by a single mother in Albuquerque. As an only child
she developed independence and strength.
At 13, her mother hired her as a bus girl in the restaurant that she managed. She worked her way up from bus girl to various higher positions, until at the age of 26 she was a restaurant investor and general manager.
Having found success at an early age she followed her dream and moved to California. It was a natural transition into real estate. Her love for California architecture and fascination with the art of buying and selling real estate compelled her to hone her skills. After a short time she became a Top Producing Realtor at Better Homes and Gardens in the East Bay market. She savors the satisfaction that her clients experience when they close their transaction.
When Anita isn't working she can be found cheering on her favorite sports teams, playing with her dogs or traveling. She follows UC Berkeley athletics and is a die-hard 49er's fan. Or you might find her at a local dog-friendly place with her beloved Daschunds Sissy and Lucy. Anita also loves to travel by plane, train or automobile.
